Our Humble Beginnings

Hooked on Pinball was founded by Robert Campbell who was 'hooked' by the game in 2001 after purchasing his first two pinball machines. Added to his man cave were Gottlieb Mario Andretti and Data East Checkpoint. After moving to North Carolina in 2005, Williams Roadshow was added to the collection. Robert began revamping and modifying machines for optimal play which soon became a hit with his pin buddies due to the fine quality, and this is when a love for the hobby turned into a business.

If you're looking for high quality mods for your Stern-built pinball machine, then you must meet the Chief Mod Creator. Robert has been building quality mods since 2011, and each design will give each of your machines a unique personal touch.

Since 2005, Robert has owned more than 150 games (mostly newer ones from Stern). His man cave usually houses about 10-16 machines at one time, along with other arcade plays. His three favs are Iron Man, Medieval Madness, and Elvis.

You may find Robert at a booth at the annual Southern Fried Gameroom Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, which is held in July. Come to the show to see and play his latest pinball mod creations and enhancements. Or, you may exchange ideas, fun, and laughter at the occasional pinball bashes held around the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.
